「OTABLE」是一个以“桌”为起点的家庭项目。名称中的“O”源自闽南语“乌”的发音“ɔ”,既是一种“非色彩”的意象,也指向具体的生活记忆——502 房间号、屋内的一张桌子。OTABLE 所关注的不是饮食本身,而是围绕家庭、食物与时间展开的日常状态,一种被认真对待的生活方式。
OTABLE 的设计建立在“结构先于表达”的原则之上。品牌视觉并不试图塑造某种情绪形象,而是构建一种可承载日常生活的秩序结构——如同一张桌子,稳定、开放、持续可用。OTABLE 所追求的“安静与克制”,并非冷静疏离,而是一种长期主义的姿态:通过材料、比例、留白与节奏的持续控制,让品牌在不断生长中保持稳定与温度。
理性负责结构,热情存在于日常——这正是 OTABLE 的设计信念。
OTABLE is a family-based project that begins with the table. The “O” in its name comes from the Minnan pronunciation of “black” (ɔ), functioning both as an abstract notion of non-color and as a marker of lived memory — Room 502, a table inside a home. Rather than focusing on food itself, OTABLE is concerned with the everyday state formed by family, food, and time — a way of living that is consciously cared for.
OTABLE’s design is guided by the principle that structure precedes expression. Instead of projecting a specific mood, the visual system constructs an ordered framework capable of holding daily life — like a table: stable, open, and meant for continuous use. The “quietness” and “restraint” pursued by OTABLE do not imply emotional distance, but a long-term attitude: through sustained control of material, proportion, spacing, and rhythm, the brand remains steady and warm as it continues to grow.
Reason shapes the structure; passion lives in the everyday. This is the design belief of OTABLE.
